Transformation through Sensation Suzanne L. Cohen, Ed.D. Certified Nia Instructor, Black Belt Nia Life Coach Nia Lifestyle Coaching is based on The Nia Technique, a comprehensive, holistic lifestyle practice that uses movement to music to integrate the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Nia's foundation is The Body's Way, the way the body was naturally designed to move. Transformation takes place through movement, breath work, the pleasure principle and your body's innate intelligence. We begin by setting your goals, discovering what you wish to achieve and what you desire in any of the realms-- physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Then, in addition to The Body's Way, we work with the Dancing Through Life System-- living meditation, life as art, and multidimensional awareness. You become your own conscious personal trainer. If you are serious about changing your life, Nia Lifestyle Coaching will inspire you to: •Reach your potential and peak performance in your personal relationships, work, and leisure activities •Identify your strengths and use them to their full benefit •Forge a new, joyful relationship with your body •Increase your sensory I.Q. •"Remove obstacles and self-defeating beliefs •"Feel to heal and express emotions in ways that are attuned to self and others •Tap into your creative source using your body's intelligence What makes Nia Lifestyle Coaching unique? We work with you individually or in a small group, with Nia always the source of inspiration and guidance. We work with exercises, such as the five stages of healing, body awareness checklist, and your own personal movement analysis. We bring emotions into the mix, truly integrating emotions with sensations. You will also use your NiaJournal which includes materials to play with at home to increase your awareness and to empower you. Dr. Suzanne L. Cohen is a Certified Nia Instructor (Black Belt) and has taught classes and workshops in The Nia Technique in the Boston Area since 1998. Suzanne is also a Licensed Psychologist and Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP). She is a member of the US Association for Body Psychotherapy.
